Start Creating Your Vision Board Today!

Hi,

A friend of mine who is traveling the world just sent me an e-mail about her recent vision board success.  It's a great story so I'm posting it here….

Namaste,

So, as you know - when I got to auz, I spent a pretty good amount of time creating a vision board for my time spent here.

One of the things I really wanted to manifest in auz - was meeting some new people in my life - that were both physically present - AND they were a direct reflection of the person I am NOW.  I have so many deep friendships with people that don't live in the same town - so I wanted some people in my life that were PHYSICALLY present.  I also have very deep friendships with people Ive known all my life.  I love those people more than words could ever write….but my adventures in Thailand changed me very, very much.  I wanted / needed to meet some NEW people that were a reflection of the woman I grew to be on my travel adventures - not the woman Ive been since I was a kid.

So….on my vision board I wrote:

"I am really, really enjoying the new group of physically present people Ive meet here in Auz"

  • They are world travelers
  • I have a ton of fun with them
  • I feel like Ive known them forever, yet they are a direct reflection of the person I am post-Thailand
  • We have amazing, uplifting conversations
  • The place they play in my life right now helps clarify my path.

All this or better by 9/1/08

So, as you know I picked up a casual bartending job at a local seafood restaurant to make some money while I am in Auz.  My first night working I meet a great girl from Canada who is traveling here in auz and working at the restaurant to make some extra cash.  Three days ago she invited me to have lunch with her…

1) "they are world travelers"……..Turns out she has done about 15 countries.  Our first lunch together we sat - and talked about traveling - our adventures - stories, etc.  We couldn't stop talking about traveling.  Then she tells me she is part of a group of people that are world travelers here in my town - and they meet for drum circles every week.  She invites me to come - and to introduce me to all her world travel friends…..

2) "I have a ton of fun with them"- in the three days ive known them - we have made plans to go out drinking this weekend - to hit a drum circle next week and to go hiking to explore Auz…..

3) I feel like Ive known them forever and they are a direct reflection of the person I am post -Thailand.   Last night we sat on my patio and talked for so long we could barley talk any more.  We sat and had an amazing, deep, uplifting conversation about finding your path after traveling…..how hard reality is when you get back from traveling - the tear between reality and being on the road forever.  It was amazing.  Like every feeling I'm having in my heart processing my travels was also being experienced by these other people.

4) The place they play in my life for the moment helps me clarify my path - Mind you Ive only known them a week now….but my brain has been going all day long from our all night conversation last night.  So many things that my true heart wants - but that I wasnt allowing myself to feel or think about came out in that conversation - and its helped set myself up for the path I want to be on.

Manifesting a Mentor

Manifestation Mastery Video Course

After years of getting over my insecurities and learning what I do not want to do, I realized that the one thing I would love to do, even if I had all the money in the world, would be to explore places and take abstract photos.  Recently I have been taking pictures in industrial settings.  These pictures are mostly things that are ravaged by nature and glanced over by most people.  But I like to look at the decayed items from a different perspective and make it into art.  The photos usually come out looking like paintings, which I love.

Last week one of my pieces was accepted into an art exhibition/competition.  This was a big opportunity for me to validate to my friends and family that I am actually doing the thing that I love to do and people are taking it seriously.  But now I realize that I have to take my pictures to the next level if I am going to ever make anything big out of the pictures.

I decided that I need a mentor in order to learn what I want to learn.  I want to learn the following:

In order to meet the universe half way, I reading books on how to promote your art and make it look presentable.  I am open to any type of mentor, but I would prefer one who is successful and is inspired from my works.  This will be the only thing that I am focusing on manifesting right now.

My Urban Tribe Has Begun To Manifest!

Positivity Space - Dare to Be Rich in All areas of Your Life!

I love manifesting!  And I love having this blog!  I swear it's like magic.  I put an intention on here and as long as I'm NOT blocking (if you don't know what that is check the blocking category) it shows up in my life.

On May 15, 2008 I posted that I wanted to build an urban tribe here in Vegas like I'd had in Denver and Seattle when I lived in those places.  What's an urban tribe?  It's a group of 20 and 30 something's who have skipped out on getting married, having kids and instead are taking the time to find themselves and realize their dreams.  The urban tribe in many ways is a lot like a big family of friends.  After posting my desire did I go out and start talking to people?  NO.  Did I start posting ads on CraigsList.com?  NO.  Did I do anything at all?  NO.  How can I expect it to manifest then?  By simply putting my intention out to the Universe.  This is HOW REAL MANIFESTING WORKS.  Despite what all the authors are telling you action is NOT required to manifest.  If you are seeking to achieve a goal I'd suggest action.  If you are manifesting NO ACTION IS REQUIRED.  Case in point a few days ago a friend of mine who is also an entrepreneur sent me an e-mail saying, "I want to move back to Vegas.  You've wanted to build an urban tribe in Vegas forever.  Let's do it."  Yeah baby!  It was just that simple.

A few days later we began putting our plans together.  Brian (www.brianwatkins.com) felt the best way to do this was to rent a big house and fill it with our kind of people.  I had some concerns about that because I don't want to get locked into a long lease here in Vegas.  My plan is to relocate to Florida in early 2009.  We talked everything out, came to an agreement and now he putting together the business plan to make it happen.  BEAUTIFUL!

Clear Intuition

Don't Just Set a Goal: Achieve-It!

Recently I have been thinking about what exactly I want to be doing with my life on a professional level. In my last post I described the basic criteria for what I wanted to do, but without any specifics. I have been very conscious to not stress out about not having the vision of what I want to be yet. In the past I had a tendency to be annoyed that I didn’t know what I wanted to do but now I realize that I need to explore my options a little bit and trust that the universe is giving me some necessary scenarios that will help me figure out what I truly want to do.

While I am not stressing out and thinking/saying “why don’t I know what I want to do with my life?!”, I find myself frequently asking “What is it that I want to do with my life? Hmmm…” It’s a subtle difference, but the latter puts me in a state of possibilities and excitement rather and frustration and guilt.

So the other day the typical “What do I want to do with my life?” thought was running through my head while I was on a break at work. But right after, a very clear burst of intuition filled my head and said “Be financially responsible and figure out what you love to do and I’ll let you have as much money as you want”. It’s strange that it was directed at me in the second tense, but that did give it a lot more power.

In an ideal scenario, I would love to travel the world, go on adventures, take interesting pictures and create art. But I do have some thoughts that stop that from being possible. One of them is the thought that I cannot make money for doing anything creative. People have told me that when I was young and in my experience I have had the tendency to make things and put time and effort into it, only to have the project go to waste and be left with less time and money than when I started. To go along with that, I have some issues with being judged with my artistic pursuits and my current financial state isn’t horrible but it needs a lot of work.

The message that I got from my intuition makes sense to me. I need to get my finances in order and experiment with things that I love (traveling, art, creative pursuits, etc.). Hearing that I can do what I love and that I can be financially abundant fits right in with what we tell children in grade school and adults in The Secret, but I’ve had my fair share of doubts. But now I get that I need to work on these 2 areas of my life more than any other areas.

So based on those thoughts, here is what I am committed to doing:

This will be my focus for the next 2 months. I am manifesting the inspiration to work on my finances as well as opportunities to do what I love in many different scenarios.

Manifesting An Urban Tribe Here In Vegas

Positivity Space - Dare to Be Rich in All areas of Your Life!

I've been working on the Privateer Nation for over 4 years.  For 4 years I haven't had a life.  I've barely dated.  I've rarely gone out.  I haven't hung out with friends.  All I've done is work.  Was it worth giving up having a life to get the Privateer Nation to where it is today?  Absolutely!  I'm so proud of what I've created.  I truly believe that my creation is going to change the course of human history.  Or at the very least have a massive impact on the world.  It's everything I ever dreamed it would be and it keeps getting better every month.

Now that I've begun to build the Privateer Nation (meaning that I'm recruiting and not just working on the system) I want my life back.  I want to date.  I want to hang out.  I want an urban tribe like I had in Seattle and also in Denver.  It's time.  My request to the universe is to bring an amazing group of friends into my life who become my urban tribe here in Las Vegas.  If you aren't familiar with the term "urban tribe" it comes from Urban Tribes by Ethan Watters.  In the book Ethan explains that an urban tribe is a group of 20 and 30 something's who have skipped out on having kids, getting married and instead are taking the time to find themselves, live their dreams and who hang out together and have a lot of fun.

Note:  I realized a few weeks ago that I've been blocking the request I made to the Universe to bring the woman of my dreams into my life until after the Electric Daisy Carnival in June.  Why?  I want to be single at that massive because I have a feeling like I'm going to have the night of my life.  After that then I'm happy to allow the woman of my dreams into my life.
