Is Abraham Hicks Real or A SCAM?

My girlfriend took me to an Abraham Hick's Seminar in Los Angeles for my birthday. I was so amped when she told me! I've been wanting to see Ester Hicks channel Abraham for a long time. Why? To figure out if Abraham Hicks is real or a scam.
Before I went to the seminar I pictured two things happening. The first was that we'd be seated in the front row. The second is that Abraham would select me and answer my questions about intuition.
We arrived about 40 minutes early and we were seated in THE DEAD LAST ROW. I laughed, as there was nothing we could do, I just kept holding the intention of being seated in the front.
At lunch (comes as part of the ticket price and the food was absolutely amazing) we ate fast and returned to the conference room early. Regina found some seats in the center that were not saved. I figured "What the heck?" I walked to the very front row and began checking for seats. When I saw 2 open seats, I smiled, thanked the Universe that I believe in manifesting and sat down. Regina soon joined me =) About a 1/2 hour later a group of people came up and said "You are in our seats!" I asked "Why are these your seats?" They responded "Because we were sitting there!" I said "Well these seats were unmarked when I sat down. Did you save them?" They said "No, we don't have to." To make a long story short I asked one of the seminar employees and he confirmed it is an open seating seminar. We stayed in those seats (SUCCESS)! For the people that don't believe in manifesting I'm sure it appears as if we got lucky. To the people who know that manifesting works, they know we manifested those seats. The view from the front was just like I’d pictured it.
Despite the people to the left and right of us glaring, Regina and I continued to enjoy the seminar as best we could. I was the second to the last person chosen to ask Abraham questions (SUCCESS AGAIN)! This is a huge deal as there at least a hundred hands up at any given time. I sat down in the Abraham Hicks Hotseat as it is called and began asking questions about my intuition (you can hear the conversation Abraham and I had on the Abraham Hicks CD's from the March 28, 2009 Los Angeles workshop). Thankfully, my conversation was being recorded because I wasn't paying a lot of attention. I came to the seminar to find out if Ester was conning everyone about channeling Abraham. I was listening to her/Abraham's answers to my questions. However I was spending all my time focusing on her eyes. I wanted to see if her eyes looked different when she was channeling. The eyes after all are the window to the soul. All I can say is my experience of staring into Ester's eyes when she was channeling was different. I was staring at intelligence. That's the only way I can describe it. What does that mean? It means that I while I was staring into human eyes, what was looking back at me didn't FEEL human. I'm an incredible skeptic. I know how many cons there are out there. I got my start hustling on the streets of southern California. If Ester is a con artist… I don't believe it. I know what I saw. It blows my mind that what she is doing is for real.
THE 2 BIGGEST THINGS I GOT OUT OF THE ABRAHAM HICKS SEMINAR
Abraham said “Controlling your emotions, learning the self discipline of speaking WHAT YOU WANT is the most important thing you will do in your life.” I'd write more about this but that truly says it ALL.
I also got a tool called the Abraham Hick’s FOCUS WHEEL. The idea is that you write a circle in the center of an 8/11 sheet of paper. You draw a line through the circle in the center. At the top 1/2 you put what you do NOT like. At the bottom half you put how you'd like the situation to be. Then you write 1 through 12 around the circle just like a wall clock in the old school buildings. What you then do is start at the 1 and write 1 thing that could be positive about the current situation you are hating. Then you move to 2 and do the same. I used this technique 3 days after the seminar. Regina and I had an argument that I didn't see a way out of. I didn't think the wheel would help but I tried it because I didn't have any other ideas. By the time I got to 7 I was STOKED OUT OF MY MIND that Regina and I had been arguing. And that's not the best part. I made a decision that I wanted the Universe to deliver an answer to our argument that I couldn't see. Six hours later Regina called me and told me about a woman she had met at Starbucks that morning. The woman recommended a book to her for me (Regina had shared with her about our argument). The book was called THE WAY OF THE SUPERIOR MAN and it had the answer I was looking for. HOW COOL IS THAT!

I too went to see Ester and Jerry Hicks and Abraham in Phoenix years ago. It was one of the only times I saw an aura. Many others saw it too as Ester was channeling. Thanks for sharing your experience…saw a link on twitter.
