I’m holding myself back – time to remove the blockages!

I was typing in my personal journal yesterday (it's nothing fancy, it's just a private blogging account that I shoot emails to) and I was thinking about how my coworkers and people who follow me on twitter are getting interested in my work. And yet I haven't been gung-ho about actively promoting myself.
Why? Because I feel like my website still needs work on the back end to be more functional. I've been able to pinpoint the cause of my website being incomplete and it is because I want the consumer interaction to be perfect. The only problem is that perfect will take way too long to fix.
So here I am, with people who are becoming interested in my stuff. And I'm holding back from providing them with what they want! This is a funny realization. It's time to take this situation and run with it.
