Vision Board Success Story From World Traveler

Hi,
A friend of mine who is traveling the world just sent me an e-mail about her recent vision board success. It's a great story so I'm posting it here….
Namaste,
So, as you know – when I got to auz, I spent a pretty good amount of time creating a vision board for my time spent here.
One of the things I really wanted to manifest in auz - was meeting some new people in my life – that were both physically present – AND they were a direct reflection of the person I am NOW. I have so many deep friendships with people that don't live in the same town – so I wanted some people in my life that were PHYSICALLY present. I also have very deep friendships with people Ive known all my life. I love those people more than words could ever write….but my adventures in Thailand changed me very, very much. I wanted / needed to meet some NEW people that were a reflection of the woman I grew to be on my travel adventures – not the woman Ive been since I was a kid.
So….on my vision board I wrote:
"I am really, really enjoying the new group of physically present people Ive meet here in Auz"
- They are world travelers
- I have a ton of fun with them
- I feel like Ive known them forever, yet they are a direct reflection of the person I am post-Thailand
- We have amazing, uplifting conversations
- The place they play in my life right now helps clarify my path.
All this or better by 9/1/08
So, as you know I picked up a casual bartending job at a local seafood restaurant to make some money while I am in Auz. My first night working I meet a great girl from Canada who is traveling here in auz and working at the restaurant to make some extra cash. Three days ago she invited me to have lunch with her…
1) "they are world travelers"……..Turns out she has done about 15 countries. Our first lunch together we sat – and talked about traveling - our adventures – stories, etc. We couldn't stop talking about traveling. Then she tells me she is part of a group of people that are world travelers here in my town – and they meet for drum circles every week. She invites me to come – and to introduce me to all her world travel friends…..
2) "I have a ton of fun with them"- in the three days ive known them – we have made plans to go out drinking this weekend – to hit a drum circle next week and to go hiking to explore Auz…..
3) I feel like Ive known them forever and they are a direct reflection of the person I am post -Thailand. Last night we sat on my patio and talked for so long we could barley talk any more. We sat and had an amazing, deep, uplifting conversation about finding your path after traveling…..how hard reality is when you get back from traveling – the tear between reality and being on the road forever. It was amazing. Like every feeling I'm having in my heart processing my travels was also being experienced by these other people.
4) The place they play in my life for the moment helps me clarify my path – Mind you Ive only known them a week now….but my brain has been going all day long from our all night conversation last night. So many things that my true heart wants – but that I wasnt allowing myself to feel or think about came out in that conversation – and its helped set myself up for the path I want to be on.
