Goodbye At Least For Now

Posted on December 7, 2009 in the Namaste's Posts, Namaste's Yearly, Real Life category

Dear Readers,

Myself, Mike and Aaron have been writing on this blog for almost 3 years.  It’s been fun but we no longer want to write a blog together.  Because of this we’ve decided to close the blog down.  I may start a new blog as I continue to learn about manifesting and experience better and bigger results.  If I decide to do that I will post a link to my new blog on here as I’ve valued some of the great comments I’ve gotten from all of you over the years.

Wishing you all an incredible 2010!

How To ALLOW A Manifestation To Show Up With Ease & Grace

Posted on August 8, 2009 in the Allowing, Blocking, Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Namaste's Posts, Real Life category

About a month ago my girlfriend decided to manifest $12,500.  A few weeks later a wholesaling opportunity showed up in her life.  The deal has been a rollercoaster ride for her from day one.  One day everything looks like the truckload of 50 TV’s is going to show up.  The next day it turns out the TV’s have not left the loading dock yet.

We talked about the deal tonight.  She told me that the deal is making her nuts.  I asked her “Are you blocking* the deal from happening?”  She told me that she couldn’t find any where that she was blocking.  We kept talking and soon the answer came up.  I told her about my days in door-to-door sales.  The top sales guys did not get super excited when they got a sale.  The top sales guys also did not get bummed out when they didn’t get a sale.  We talked about this and Regina said, “The top sales guys are telling the Universe that getting a sale is NO BIG DEAL.  If the top sales guys were getting super excited after each sale, it would be telling the Universe “This is a big deal!”  Any time you make something a big deal, it makes it extra hard to allow to it into your life.  Why?  Because it’s a BIG DEAL.  If it were a small deal then you’d just expect the Universe to deliver and it would.  Keep in mind that it is no harder for the Universe to deliver a $20 bill then it is for the Universe to deliver a winning lottery ticket.” Regina realized that by being so emotional, she was telling the Universe that a $12,500 pay day was a big deal.  All of her focus was going to the “this has never happened before” part of the deal.  Because she was giving all the attention to “this has never happened before” part of the deal she was blocking the deal from happening.  If she was giving her focus to “$12,500 is no big deal” then she would be allowing the deal to show up with ease and grace.  She’s going to start doing this immediately.  I will not be surprised when I get a call from her and she says “The $12,500 is in the bank!”

*When I say the word “blocking” I mean she is saying one thing and in the back of her mind thinking another.  The only reason a manifestation does not show up in your life is because YOU ARE BLOCKING IT.  A perfect example of blocking is when I was trying to manifest a girlfriend and she wasn’t showing up.  I’d tell everyone I wanted a girlfriend but in the back of my mind I’d be thinking “A girlfriend is going to get in the way of me working all the time.”  Because I was saying one thing, and offering a different vibration with my thoughts, the girl I wanted was not showing up.  I was literally blocking the manifestation.  Once I realize I was blocking her from showing up in my life I stopped doing that.  Regina showed up in my life a few months later.

I Found A $50 Bill! Then I Felt Guilty…

Posted on August 7, 2009 in the Breakthroughs, Financial Abundance, Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Namaste's Posts, Real Life, Success category

Over a year ago I created a list of all the qualities I wanted in a girlfriend.  I then focused my attention on that list and I met Regina in December of 2008.  We’ve been together ever since and she is amazing.  Of course that is NOT a surprise to me as she has all the qualities that were on my manifesting list.

One of our favorite things to do is look for money when we go out together.  Long before we met, we both took T. Harv Ecker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar.  In that seminar Harv says “How many times have you walked by a penny and not picked it up?  If you are walking by pennies, and not picking them up, it is highly likely you are walking by money in other places too.  Why?  You are NOT focused on money.”

Regina and I both took that statement to heart.  Neither of us walk by a penny without picking it up.  When we met, we were both surprised to find out that we both pick up pennies.  Since we are both competitive, we now race for pennies when we see them when we are hanging out together.

Here is what is interesting.  Regina and I have both found $100 bills, $20 dollar bills, $10 bills, $5 dollar bills, $1 dollar bills, quarters, dimes and nickels because we are always looking for money when we are out and about.  Do you know how good it feels to find a $100 bill? It’s awesome!  Regina just found another $100 bill last week.  It’s been about 8 months since I found my last $100 bill.  We find big bills because we don’t walk by pennies.  Case in point…

Last night we were at WalMart.  As always we were both looking around for money when we were shopping.  I found the first penny.  Then Regina found two pennies.  As we were walking out of the store we both saw something on the ground at the same time.  We both raced for it.  I grabbed it up just a second before she got there.  It was a $50 bill!  I love $50 bills.  I make a point to carry $50 and $100 bills with me regularly because I get excited every time I see them in my wallet.  Since we both saw the bill at the same time we decided to split it.  We went home to eat Ben & Jerry’s Mint Chip ice cream and celebrate.

Guess what?  The people that were walking in front of us walked right over the $50 bill and kept on going.  Why?  Why didn’t they see the $50 bill that was right in front of them?  The answer is because they weren’t looking.  I wonder how long the $50 bill was laying on the ground?  I was in an airport a while back and I saw 3 quarters on the ground.  I reached down to pick them up and found that they were glued to the ground.  I looked around to see who the joker was that had glued the money to the ground.  Who ever had done it was gone.  I had some extra time so I decided to take a seat near the quarters.  I wanted to see how many other people reached for it.  What I saw blew my mind!  In the 10 minutes or so that I was sitting there at least 30 people walked by the quarters.  Only 1 guy reached down to pick the quarters up.  These weren’t pennies but bright, shiny, brand new quarters.  Only 1 guy stopped and tried to pick the quarters up.  It takes under 5 seconds to pick up quarters.

An interesting thing happened on our way back to the house.  I started feeling guilty for finding the $50 bill.  Why?  The people in the checkout line in front of me were hurting for money.  They had to pull out 3 different credit cards to get their groceries because their credit cards kept getting declined.  Those people could have really used the $50 bill.  I know it doesn’t make any logical sense but the thought bugged me.  It caused me to think about the typical person I saw at WalMart.  A lot of the people in that store really look like they could use $50.  Why did I find the $50 bill and not those people?  Then I started thinking about how it felt when I lost a $20 bill in the grocery store a year ago.  It didn’t feel that great.  This line of thinking had me stressing about finding money!  I decided it was time to do a focus wheel.

I learned about doing focus wheels from Regina who is a law of attraction coach (http://www.magnetic-ally.com).  She learned about them from Abraham Hicks (www.abrahamhicks.com).  What does a focus wheel do?  It is an exercise that takes you from feeling bad about an issue to feeling good.  I’ve used focus wheels to go from hating a situation, to loving it, in less than 30 minutes.

In doing the focus wheel (with the help of Regina) I realized two things…

First, when I lost that $20 in the grocery store, I wasn’t happy, but I didn’t care.  I’m pretty sure the fruit guy found my $20 bill.  I had gone back to see if I’d dropped the bill in the fruit section.  I didn’t see anything but the fruit guy had a really excited look on his face.  I didn’t have the heart to ask him if he’d found a $20 bill.  Who ever lost the $50 bill could easily feel the way I did about my $20 bill.  It’s never fun to lose money but it certainly is not the end of the world.

Second, I realized that I found the $50 bill because I was focused on finding money.  The people in front of us walked right over the $50 bill and kept right on going.  If I’d seen someone drop it, I’d have given it to them.  However, I didn’t see anyone drop it so it was as much my money as it was any one else’s.

After realizing these two things I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders.  This experience got me to thinking.  Abraham (www.abrahamhicks.com) always says “You don’t have to do something to deserve good things to happen to you.  All you have to do is align with good things happening to you and let them happen.  You do not have to do anything!”  I always thought this was obvious but finding the $50 bill got me thinking.  If I won the lottery would I have guilty feelings about this too?  What if I won a $100,000 dollars?  Because of the work I just did on the $50 bill I know I would be stoked and NOT feeling guilty.  What about you?

I Realized I Was BLOCKING The Universe From Helping Me

Posted on August 6, 2009 in the Blocking, Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Namaste's Posts, Real Life category

Mike, Aaron and I were on our weekly conference call a few hours ago.  During the call I pointed out to Mike that the Universe is throwing doors open for him to pursue energy/intuitive work.  His response was “I know and for some reason that makes me resist it.  It’s like I want it to be hard or something.”  As soon as he said that, I knew I was in the exact same situation.  I immediately decided I needed to figure this out.  Why?  I realized I’m literally BLOCKING the Universe from opening doors for me.  I have the same thing going on as Mike does.  If it is easy then I don’t want it.

After finishing up my work for the night I got out my journal out and wrote “What is my issue with life being easy for me?  Why would I be “blocking” ease and grace from coming into my life?”  When I say “blocking” I’m not just saying the word.  If you want something to come into your life, and it doesn’t show up, it is because you are blocking.  I use to do this in the area of romantic relationships.  I told everyone I wanted a girlfriend.  However in the back of my mind I was always thinking “A girlfriend is going to get in the way of my working all the time.”  I was saying one thing but my thoughts were not aligned with my words.  Because my thoughts were not aligned with my words I was always single.  Finally, I figured out that I was “blocking” and Regina showed up in my life in a matter of months.  Getting back to the point of this blog post…

As soon as I wrote the questions down, the answer came immediately.  I’m blocking the Universe from opening doors for me because the challenge is fun.  If the Universe just opened up every door for me, then I’d be bored because the challenge would be gone. I thought about this point for a moment and realized my thinking was off.  I want BIG challenges like “How can I get my company into all 194 countries on the planet by the year 2020?”  That is a challenge worth spending time on.  Challenges not worth spending time on are things like figuring out how to save up $5,000 in 5 months.  I should be able to focus my attention and immediately have that kind of money show up in my life.  Figuring out how to save $5,000 in 5 months is a boring challenge.

Wow!  I’m so excited!  I can feel the resistance melting away.  I just need to remind myself of this every day until the resistance is all gone.  Life just keeps getting better!

Burning, lustful passion for what I want

Posted on June 22, 2009 in the Breakthroughs, Goals, Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Mike's Posts category

On Thursday I was having a great "What do you want to do when you grow up?" conversation with a successful businessman.  He knows and supports my efforts as an abstract artist, but he had a sneaking suspicion that I was still not moving toward a larger goal that I had set for myself.  This conversation was awkward and it must have felt like pulling teeth on his end.

While I was saying how I'm interested in doing something in the holistic field (including but not limited to energy work, massage, conscious movement and sound therapy), he kept asking "why".  My answer was "because there's never an end to that stuff.  There's always more to explore and experience."  Being a creator profile, I know that I am most inspired to develop a project and move on.

Then he said something that struck me.  "You have to find something that you want to do so much that the desire is almost sexual."  It might sound weird that a business mentor would say that to me, but it was incredibly useful.

Think about it all the energy and thought that is put into sexual desire.  Now imagine being so inspired to do a project or to change something that you can't pull yourself away from it if you tried.  THAT'S what I need to being into my life.  I do get in that mode when I am taking my photos and editing them, but it usually depends on outside stimuli, such as a really interesting wall or graffiti that I can't wait to take pictures of.

I can't say that I've experienced that driven, passionate, lustful feeling on any project for a prolonged period of time.  And I think that's exactly what needs to change.

I am committed to rediscovering any burning desires/passions that I have this week.  I'll post again when I figure it out!

What Do I Want And Why Do I Want It Game

Posted on June 15, 2009 in the Goals, Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Namaste's Posts, Real Life category

I’ve been studying a lot of Abraham Hick’s materials these past few months.  If you are not familiar with Abraham Hicks check out their website at www.abraham-hicks.com for more info.  To me the following quote sums up their work perfectly….

For every pleasing thing, there is an unpleasing counterpart, for within every particle of the Universe is that which is wanted as well as the lack of that which is wanted. When you focus upon an unwanted aspect of something in an effort to push it away from you, it only comes closer, because you get what you give your attention to whether it is something that you want or not. It is up to you to focus upon and attract what is wanted.

— Abraham

I’m really making a point to incorporate the lessons Abraham teaches into my life.  What I’m finding is that focusing on what I want, instead of what I do not want, is a skill.  It is so easy to talk about the things I do not want.  It is so easy to put my attention on what is NOT working.  I know that by focusing on what I do not want, I’m only bringing it closer to me.  I know it, yet I still do it.  I’ve realized that me talking about what I do not want is a habit.  It actually is just as easy to talk about what I do want.  I just have to create the habit of doing that.

I was talking to my girlfriend a few weeks ago about this situation.  Her name is Regina by the way.  She is a law of attraction coach.  Her website is www.magnetic-ally.com.  What qualifies her to be a law of attraction coach?  Her real world experiences with the law of attraction.  Most people go to law of attraction seminars, read law of attraction books, and listen to law of attraction audios and do nothing with the information.  She takes what she learns and applies it again and again and again.  She is intense!  I love getting coached by her because she isn’t coaching me based on some info she read about.  She only coaches based on what her experience have shown her to be true.  She’s been studying and applying the law of attraction for 12 years.  Her experience and depth of knowledge on the subject is incredible.  I learn something new from her every time we hang out.  I’m a really lucky guy.

Sorry I got off on a tangent there for a second.  Like I said Regina and I were talking about how it really is a skill to talk about what we want, instead of what we do not want.  We ended up coming up with a game to help us create the habit of talking about what we want.  We call it the WHAT WE WANT AND WHY WE WANT IT GAME.  When we catch ourselves talking (or thinking) about what we do not want, we stop, and then we correct ourselves by saying what we want and why we want it.  It feels SO GOOD when I do this!

To remind ourselves all day long that we are playing this game we each wear a rubber bracelet.  Regina’s bracelet says “WHAT DO I WANT?” on the front.  On the back her bracelet says “WHY DO I WANT IT?”  She had her bracelet made at www.wristbandconnection.com.  It was the only site that would allow her to make only 1 rubber wrist band.  All the other rubber wristband sites wanted her to order 100 or more for the initial order.  The total cost for her bracelet and shipping was under $15.00.  I didn’t have a bracelet made because I already wear my white ONE bracelet everyday.  I’m a big supporter of the ONE organization.  Their goal is to fight against extreme poverty and hunger, particularly in Africa.  I included the info on the ONE organization because I wanted to see if you caught it.  Did you?  What am I talking about?  Look at what the ONE organization is focused on.  They are focused on fighting extreme poverty.  Guess what they are attracting more of by focusing on extreme poverty?  You got it!  Talking about what we want, instead of what we do not want, really is a skill that everyone could use.  The goal of our game is to keep our bracelets on the same wrist for 21 days (everyone knows it takes 21 days to create a habit).  We switch our bracelets when we catch ourselves talking about what we do not want and correct ourselves by talking about what we do want.  We’ve been playing the game now for about two weeks and so far I haven’t been able to keep my bracelet on the same wrist for an entire day.  That’s ok though because I’m in the game and one day I really will only think and talk about what I want!

Can you imagine how cool it would be to ONLY talk about what you want?  I’m chomping at the bit for this experience.  I really
believe it will speed up my manifestations a thousand percent.  I invite you to play the game with Regina and I.  Please send me an e-mail if you’d like to play the game.  When we get 5 people playing, I’m going to begin collecting stories from everyone about how their manifestations are speeding up.  Once a month I’m going to send those stories out in an e-mail to everyone.  I’m going to close this blog post with my favorite quote from Abraham Hicks, “Life is SUPPOSED to be fun!”

The Secret Law of Attraction as Explained by Napoleon Hill

Posted on May 21, 2009 in the Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Namaste's Monthly category

I had a feeling to walk into Borders Books on my day off.  I found a book called THE SECRET LAW OF ATTRACTION As Explained by Napoleon Hill.  It's awesome!  The authors took all the references to the law of attraction out of THINK AND GROW RICH and THE LAW OF SUCCESS IN SIXTEEN LESSONS and put it into this book.  It's so cool to have Napoleon Hill explain the law of attraction!

I love this poem I found in THE SECRET LAW OF ATTRACTION As Explained by Napoleon Hill….

You never can tell what your thoughts will do

In bringing you hate or love,

For thoughts are things, and their airy wings

Are swifter that a carrier dove.

They follow the law of the universe,

Each thing must create its kind,

And they speed o'er the track to bring you back

Whatever went out from your mind.

I’ve Been Seeing 111’s A LOT!

Posted on May 12, 2009 in the Law of Attraction, Manifesting, Namaste's Posts, Questions and Answers, Real Life, Success category

I don't remember when it began happening.  I think it was about a year ago.  All of a sudden I began seeing a lot of the same numbers at the same time.  I'd look at the clock and it would be 1:11.  Or I'd see a text message and it would be time stamped 11:11.  Then my girlfriend began finding a lot of single dimes and single pennies at the same time.  She told me about this and then it started happening to me too.  A few days ago I found 1 penny and 1 dime on three separate occasions.  Why is this important?  Became 1 penny and 1 dime add up to 11 cents.

Every time I see 111 or 222 or 333 (whatever) I wonder "What does this mean?"  Was this always happening to me and I just was not noticing?  I just can't believe that I would not notice something like this.  I was telling a friend about my experience and today she sent me an e-mail with the following quote from the Bible "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." ~ Hebrews 11:1.  I don't believe in coincidences.  I asked the Universe "What does seeing all these numbers in sequence mean?"  I believe my answer from the Universe is this quote from the bible.  What an interesting world we live in….
